Mike's carreer started in his teenage years where he was fascinated with mathematics and early computing, experimenting on early Atari systems and programming in the Basic software language. He was also an accomplished musician where he brought together the synergies of music and computer technologies. This led him to professional composition and music engineering and production where he was a principle in a small successful music production company in Denver, CO. His desire for formal science academics and engineering ultimately led him back to the University of Colorado, where he earned a Bachelor of Science and Engineering in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics with Honors. He was also awarded an AT&T academic scholarship. With this success he was inspired and motivated towards the opportunity for graduate school. So while beginning an internship at AT&T Bell Labs, he completed a Masters of Computer Science with a 3.96 GPA. His emphasis and Thesis was in Artificial Intelligence.
